How the Operator Network Works

A step-by-step guide to joining our network, receiving jobs, and building your gardening business without the hassle of marketing or client calls.

Your Journey with Green Shoots

1

Apply Online

Complete our simple application form. We'll review your details, experience, and preferred territory within 2-3 business days.

What we look for: Reliable operators with their own tools, professional communication, and a genuine interest in building recurring maintenance work.

2

Phone Interview

We'll call you to discuss the model, answer your questions, and ensure mutual fit. This is your opportunity to understand the full picture.

Typical topics: Territory availability, your background, equipment checklist, expectations, and fee structure.

3

Onboarding & Training

Pay your $10,000 sign-up fee (inclusive of business admin costs such as insurance and registration), sign the operator agreement, and complete onboarding. We'll train you on our system, standards, and photo requirements.

You'll receive: System login, territory confirmation, pricing matrix, quality checklist, photo guidelines, and equipment recommendations (specifications and purchasing guidance).

4

Receive Job Allocations

Jobs in your territory are allocated to you via the system. You'll receive notifications with job details, location, and service requirements.

Response time: You must respond within 1 hour to accept or flag availability issues. No calls required—everything is in the system.

5

Complete the Work

Arrive on time, complete the job to our quality standards, and upload before/after photos via the app for verification.

Quality matters: Jobs are reviewed for quality. Consistent high standards build your reputation and protect your territory.

6

Get Paid Weekly

Payments processed weekly. Your gross revenue minus the 10% royalty and $200 weekly fee. All tracked transparently in your operator dashboard.

Example: $3,000 in jobs completed = $2,500 to you ($3,000 - 10% - $200). Clear, simple, no surprises.

What We Expect from Operators

Response Time

Accept or flag job allocations within 1 hour. Fast response keeps the system running smoothly.

Photo Proof

Upload clear before/after photos for every job. Essential for quality control and customer satisfaction.

Quality Standards

Follow our checklist for every service. Consistency builds trust and protects your territory.

Professional Communication

Be polite and professional in all interactions. You represent the Green Shoots brand.

Pricing Matrix

Use our standardised pricing. No negotiations, no guessing—prices are set for consistency.

Job Completion Tracking

Keep your dashboard updated. Complete jobs promptly and flag any issues immediately.

Your Territory Allocation

Nominate a preferred Perth zone when you apply. Multiple operators can work the same zone; jobs in that area are dispatched among operators assigned there.

Shared Perth Zones

Zones are coverage areas, not exclusive licences. Several operators can be assigned to the same zone so the network can take more work in that location.

Room to Grow

Perform well and you may be offered adjacent territories. Build your capacity over time.

Recurring Clients

Our marketing focuses on monthly/fortnightly maintenance contracts. Build stable, recurring income.

Protected Launch Period

We understand it takes time to build momentum. That's why we offer a Protected Launch Period:

If allocated job opportunities total less than $2,500 in your first 30 days, your royalty reduces to 5% (instead of 10%) for the following 30 days.

Conditions:

  • • Respond within 1 hour to allocated jobs
  • • Maintain agreed availability
  • • Follow pricing matrix
  • • Accept allocated jobs (no cherry-picking)

This protection ensures you have time to establish yourself without excessive fees during your ramp-up period.
